Backyard NEIGHBOR in Historic Brewer’s Hill! (walking - 3 years old)
Finally! Something for the little ones :) Alex is opening up her backyard for messy summer fun! We’ll meet in the garden and use nature as our canvas. Little makers will forage their own search for materials, collaborate on group projects, and bring home an individual creation.
Please dress your little maker in play clothes/outfits you don’t mind getting dirty. In addition, it is recommended kiddos wear waterproof, washable shoes (ie Natives) as we will venture in the garden/make in the grass.
Parent/caregiver attendance is required!
When: Tuesdays in August (6th, 13th, 20th, 27th)
Time: 10 am -11 am
Address: provided upon registration
Cost: $18 per little maker (walking - 3 years old)
$65 for 4 class pass (walking - 3 years old)
About the Historic Brewer’s Hill Neighborhood
The Historic Brewers Hill neighborhood is located on bluffs overlooking the Milwaukee River valley, which emerged as the river, century after century, cut into its valley. The neighborhood remains as one of two residential areas from the City of Milwaukee’s original settlement period during the 1830s but it wasn’t until the 1850s that the neighborhood was officially plated on paper as Sherman’s Addition to Kilbourntown.
